Do skins really keep birds away

I've been watching all of these colorful skins and I'm sure some make the Mavic more visible in the sky but I'm wondering if any of the colors have proven to detour birds, especially large birds of prey, from investigating if not attacking. Has anyone noticed a difference with a skin vs no skin?

I really thought about this & I think it's a waste..it might keep birds away but not sure...when I'm up 150' or more I can't tell what color it is..to me it looks black..I really wanted one but now I change my mind..still cool looking when it's on ground..to each his own..good luck & happy flying
