Does Smart Controller record photos and Video on it's card or do you still have to transfer from Drone MicroSD?

So, does the Smart Controller record the photos and video or is it still recorded on the drone MicroSD card?

In the Drone. Then remove the card place it in your computer to postprocess and/or save.

I don't get high resolution video on SC but I do get raw photos and jpegs.

If you use the Preview or review triangle icon under the camera settings, there's a download option and it can download to the controller or device. On the regular controller there was a Share option but since no email exists on the SC, that option is absent from what I can tell.
