Does the CrystalSky use the same GO4 app as a normal Android?

This is a custom version that is specific to the Crystalsky, this question was asked on the DJI forum when the last update was released as some people wanted to know if they could just download the latest Android app and install it but the answer was it's not possible or recommend.

Yeah I was thinking that when they said third party apps could be installed we could install the current GO4 but no .....

I wonder if the 'standard' droid GO4 might just work on the CS anyway?

I can see the custom CS version perhaps doing more under the hood, but in theory the regular app should just work?

Nope.

It doesn't even install - let alone run

(Using an old GO4.0.7 APK)
