Does the DEM database in Litchi need to be imported in every new instance of the Hub ?

I did imported several DEM files, and created a whole waypoint project with the Hub with the Use Online Elevations unchecked.
No problems whatsoever. Every waypoint was adjusted to the surface level

The problem arise with whern I open a new instance. After creating a waypoint, Litchi Hub claims that no DEM database was installed in my system, so I need to use the Online Elevation data to make it work

I am wondering whether the instalation of the DEM Data is made permanent or not, or should I import the DEM database every time I open the web page

Maybe worth asking on the litchi forum if you haven't already done do.

I got an answer from Litchi. And the answer was YES, you need to upload the DEM model every time you open the app.
They claimed don't have room enough in their system to keep the external data

Wondering whether they could make programmatic changes that allow to use local databases
