Don‘t worry
@MARK (LI) , you will only work in the waypoints folder of your controller, and worst thing what could happen here is that the waypoint mission you are touching may not work anymore afterwards.
The way the RC2 handles waypoint is very simple: for every new mission you create, the controller will create a subfolder in the waypoints folder with a name made out of letters and numbers. let‘s assume you create a new mission, then the controller will create a subfolder eg. „abcd-19Z“, and in this folder there will be a file named „abcd-19Z.kmz“. (folder and name of the kmz file will always be identical).
Now if you want to import your own KMZ file (converted from Litchi), only thing you have to do is to rename your kmz file on your computer to „abcd-19Z.kmz“ and replace the file in the folder „waypoints/abcd-197“ of the controller.
And that‘s it!
Only thing you have to figure out before is, what cryptic folder name corresponds to the waypoint mission you created. But that‘s also quite easy: just open the folders under the waypoint folder and check the time stamp (ok, you should know the date and time when you created the waypoint mission).
And if I am not mistaken, mounting the RC2 controller on a Windows machine is even easier (I heard that it will just pop up in the explorer as a new drive?), but this I cannot verify as I am only working on mac machines - maybe others here know how this works with windows machines?
