Does the Mavic Pro 2 address the infamous side blur issue?

Seeing as the consensus was that the side/corner blur problem with the Mavic 1 was a hardware issue and that there's now an entirely new lens, do I assume that this has been rectified with the Mavic 2?

I have a Mavic Pro 1 with the very noticeable blurred sections of my footage that so many users have reported so I'm curious to know if this has been rectified in the new version.

I can only give you a single data point, but my M2P is quite remarkably sharp across the entire 20 MP field of view. Although I can also say that I saw very little edge softness on the MP either.
