...because I can't find a forum about controllers.

My problem is often the touch screen on my RC2 becomes unresponsive. Sometimes I have to tap a button up to 7 or 9 times.

Does anyone have a similar problem or is my controller bad?

Depends upon where the button is and whether you have put a screen protector over the screen. The upper right three dots is always an impossible area to reliably activate. Screen protectors also reduce the sensitivity.

One workaround is to use a USB C mini mouse, either wired or wireless. I keep one in my kit and plug it in for any extensive screen use involving settings or waypoints. Combined with programming the various buttons on the RC 2, adding a mouse can avoid ever needing to touch the screen, while still controlling flight with the sticks. You can stick it in your pocket and use your jacket or pants as a mouse pad, or add a mouse pad onto the side of the RC.

You need to Factory reset your controller.
Use the Assistant 2 software on your computer to factory reset.
( You will lose all your settings when you do this! ) write them down lol

The button could be anywhere on the screen but it seems worse in the corners. Also, I don't have a screen protector on.

USB C mini mouse? What's that and how would use attach it?

Thanks!

Search for USB C mini mouse on Amazon.
Here's the one I use:
Less than $15 for a wired one. Plugs into the USB C port on the front of the RC 2 and any RC Pro or RC Pro 2. No software installation necessary. It is instantly recognized and you will see the cursor on the screen.
