I am a new and inexperienced owner of a Mini 2. I believe all instructions have been followed but cannot make the connection with the drone. Nor can I format the Memory card.
I am trying to operate with an I phone 6 which was recently updated to the latest revisionIOS 12.5. I would appreciate some help.
Thx

When you first start the DJI FLy app, it will show a connection square for the Mavic Air 2, and then to the right, sometimes on the next screen (scroll), it will show the connection square for the Mini 2. Are you sure you are trying to connect with the proper drone model on your phone?

Also, is there anything in this post that helps you?:

Neal

Thanks for your reply.
Yes,I have tried to connect through the Mini 2 connection square but do not get any response other than the next screen which is titled ”Remote Controller Setup and Power On”.
The controller powers on as does the drone (with flashing lights).
I have deleted and rebooted the DJI Fly application with no change in results.
The other forum issue does not appear to help as he did have pairing with the drone.
My guess is there is either a software glitch or a mechanical failure between the IPhone and the controller.
Again my thanks for offering help. I would welcome any other thoughts you might have.

The RC/AC out of the box should already be paired. The RC LEDs will be steady when the RC and AC are connected. A phone is not needed for the RC and AC to connect. You can even fly it this way after activation, though altitude and distance will be limited.

Paired or not, the app should be able to connect with the RC, which is evident when the camera view does not show "RC Disconnected". If it does, check your USB cable. When in the screen showing how to connect the app to RC, t the top right is Camera View. Click on that to go right into camera view.

Many thanks for everyone's help. The problem has been solved! There was a bad connection with USB port between iPhone and controller. The protective case on the I phone interfered with plug just enough to make for the failure.
I appreciate your support.
