Just to clarify, this is probably not a good idea for anyone to try at home. I have been flying RC aircraft for decades, and consider myself an expert pilot. Anyone who tries air combat or launching explosive devices from your drone, please do so at your own risk. And do so away from people and structures.

Personally, I have done air combat at RC flying fields, and it is a sanctioned event. It's like watching a bunch of World War I fighters go at each other.

We use paintball guns to shoot down RC aircraft for public fund raisers. I'm not gonna submit my MP though! So fun and a way to say goodbye to one of your old crappy aircraft but some folks have tough flying wings that makes the competition a bit more challenging. We just did a Toys for Tots fund raiser and charged participants per round. The best is the PIC who tries to avoid getting shot down.
