The still-shot mode on the Mavic Mini's camera, does very well for capturing more detail than the video mode.

I have been using my mini for doing sunrises. I have found i can get a great hdr from manually bracketing the shots. (Taking 3 shots, under exposed, normal , over exposed) and stacking them using app like affinity or photoshop.

Thank you. That is an excellent tip. I think I took some multi exposures. For the flight, I had not expected such a lovely view. So, of course, I was low on battery and was focused on the flight. I need more practice with the photography part.
