I can't do that because I have android 11 and DJI fly 1.1.2 doesn't work on android 11

Their support told me the companion app already applies the boost, im guessing the boost was never as good as the gps hack, so once the companion app was developed its just easier to tell them that the boost is already applied. I mean technically the boost did the same thing the fcc hack did. Just know that the fcc hack only works on the 5.8 ghz channels
