Drone insurance???Square Trade

some vendors advertise a warranty from Square Trade for 2 years for $49..no deductible

I called Square Trade and they said they don't insure drones, but if one of their vendors sales the warranty they will honor it..so I gave him one of the vendor names and he verified that they are legit. they are on Ebay...

From being burned by word of mouth and changing policy I’d need it in writing, on letterhead, and containing authority.

From another post the person said Square Trade has you send the drone to a DJI Repair Facility to get a cost for the repair and then authorizes the claim and the repair is actually done by DJI Repair facility. No first hand knowledge...just relaying the jist of another post in this forum. If you search you can find that post.
