Hi I have been looking to purchase a new Mavic 2 pro and have completed the new CAA online test here in the UK no problem but been told by a supplier that the Mavic 2 Pro will not conform to legislation in Dec/Jan later this year as it will be too heavy and need to wait for a lighter drone or if i Purchase one will have to then take a course or test later on when the rules change.
As I will be an infrequent user I don't really want to do this. Does anyone know if this is correct and the laws are about to change ? Other suppliers said it was rubbish and no such thing has been mentioned. As the Mavic 2 is now coming down in price considerably is this one of the reasons why i wonder. Your help would be appreciated. Thanks Karl.
