Drone Newbie from Covington, Washington

I am in the process of buying a drone and wanted to check into the forums and read what other have and think. I am leaning towards the Mavic Air. I went to the DJI site and noticed they have a map that shows no flyzones and warning zones. I was amazed at how many warning zones there are and am now wondering if it is even worth purchasing one if it is that difficult to find an area to fly at!?

There is a lot of beautiful places, but looking at the map shocked me. Not being familiar with Warning zones (need to read up more) didn't know if I can still fly or need to go get permission, I don't know.

You most likely are seeing lots of small airports & heliports. They only require that you call and notify the tower (if it has one), to let them know when, where & how long you will be flying so they are aware of your presence.

There tend to be a lot of restrictions in parks,seashores, public spaces, but drones are fun and there is a lot of technology in the DJI drones. Get the best you can potentially afford to replace.
