I have a big passion for flying, and over the years, I've flown my friends' drones during adventure outings, never owning my own.
In the summer of 2024, I was involved in the search and rescue of a dog that had been swept up by a river in Squamish (the dog is currently happy and healthy). Since then, I have purchased my first drone and am getting my advanced operation certificate, as I would like to create more drone-related media.
I've done DSLR photography for many years often reaching for a tripod, I never carried. However, with the drone, you can set up a tripod anywhere in 3D space capturing multi-second exposures.
