I sent my Mavic to DJI last Tuesday, January 17, 2018, it went to California. I have received numerous emails updating the status of the repair. They replaced my camera and gimbal free of charge and they have already shipped it back to me.

My issue was my gimbal not staying level as I flew and turned. Hopefully this solves the issue. The purpose of this thread is to give DJI some credit for handling this efficiently. I’ve heard tons of horror stories but I wanted to see for myself. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least.
 
I too have received quick repair service from DJI. In fact, on one occasion I put a note in the box explaining that I was departing for vacation shortly after they received my drone and a person actually called me to tell me that they would make sure that I had it before I left and they did.

I take online complaints lightly knowing that good service rarely receives due credit.
 
One of the gyroscope sensors failed three days after receiving my MP, before I could even fly it. Initial contacts with DJI had me verify firmware but after that warranty service went very fast. DJI provided shipping labels, and the repair turnaround including shipping both ways was within a week. (Also to California) No complaints at all about my encounter with DJI service.

When I worked in sales, I was told by my manager, that 1 good customer tells another of his good experience.
1 bad customer tells 10.
I have had a very good experience from DJI, and I only ordered some propellers. They kept me informed of the status of my order al the way thro to delivery. I was surprised they didn’t tell me the name and inside leg measurement of the person packing them. Lol
 
Choo Choo that’s about the way I see it too. I was actually impressed by the speed and the communication of the whole thing.
