I sent my Mavic to DJI last Tuesday, January 17, 2018, it went to California. I have received numerous emails updating the status of the repair. They replaced my camera and gimbal free of charge and they have already shipped it back to me.
My issue was my gimbal not staying level as I flew and turned. Hopefully this solves the issue. The purpose of this thread is to give DJI some credit for handling this efficiently. I’ve heard tons of horror stories but I wanted to see for myself. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least.
