Today one of my flying buddies was testing some research drones at the test facility we fly at. All the aircraft had not seen any air time so this was their first flights Unfortunately one proto type crashed on its second flight after loosing signal. The fixed wing drones come in at just under 55 pounds. They also had a couple AG multi rotors used in farming. Temps on the runway were pushing 100 degrees...hot. Not my favorite weather to fly in. I didn't bring my Mavic as one of the other operators had some camera drones. I took the pics with my hand held camera.
