Ha! My Wife and I were just there too!

I did not fly in that area because of the NFZ's listed. (Mn Point airport, Hospital Heli Port and normally lots of people walking around outside.) Was going to do an early AM flight low along the lake but weather and alarm clock did not align!

So what date were you shooting these?

Flew the lighthouse area from the trail along 61 and had "Perfect LOS" to Split Rock from the rocks on "Day Hill". (8/29/17)

Nice. I spent a few years in Duluth in high school and beginning of college and know these scenes well. Canal Park would be a really fun place to fly.

I don't know if you did or didn't break any rules, but do keep them in mind (seaplanes, over people, and so on). You may be perfect here, I don't know, I'm still learning them myself.

But - yeah, good stuff! Knowing the area, that's pretty fun to watch. Thanks.
