It's all about options. One of my carry options is to use small EVA cases for the drone and remote so I can stuff them into my backpack or whatever when I don't want to carry a drone specific carry case. But I didn't have a good place to keep batteries so I ordered this one for a Mavic pro, based on the dimensions, and found that the Mavic 2 batteries fit like a glove. There is even room for an extra cable and some small parts as well.
