Been flying for over 4 years now, no lost drone yet, would like to help you have good flying experience. One way is fly slow, beginner mode, empty field, VLOS, so you can see what the bird is doing all the time. The MM, is not designed for long distance, its very small, which I like. Hope you have read your Manuel, a lot to learn, especially about the RTH feature. The RTH feature is quite complex, , it works very good, but it can do unexpected things if your not sure how its supposed to work. Many pilots have admitted that they had a lack of understanding, about the many possible scenarios
that could occur when RTH is initiated. Carefully review the RTH section of your DJI manual so you fully understand what to expect. Some times on this forum, many have asked why some things happen, mostly its pilot error. Hope your gain knowledge, and experience, fly safe, have fun.
