For rec use, you are registering the pilot, not the individual drone. So if you were to purchase another drone, it would share the same, your number.

Finally got her done. I'm now official! MA2 with a #.

Do you not have another drone. You register yourself and
use that set of #’s on any drones you have if you just hobby fly.

Right that one is exempt. I was thinking you had others

Hadn’t never thought about it other than laminating my card.
If it didn’t have to be renewed and the date be on it I would have it tattooed right below Mom.?
