Failure to descend

Virtually impossible with the downward infrared sensors being so close to the ground.
Pretty easy if you never land anywhere with loose material that can get blown around. This is easy to achieve either by landing on a mat or hand catching.

I hand launch and catch about 75% of the time. I think it's more from touching the sensor glass and rubbing against things while transporting. I use the mat once in a while but it can be a hassle in some situations when you're on the move all day.
