Fall Colors Video (Chicago Area)
I see very few comments here since posting time of 7:30 AM. I have a few. The effort was a good try, but so many things bother me, I'm wondering if others noticed.

Are you REALLY suppose to drive alone in a car, looking out the window and follow yourself in a car? Are you really supposed to keep looking out the window at your drone instead of where you are driving? Then, you jump out and start to dance around in a ghost outfit that looks totally silly, then drive back home , again, staring out the window and trying to control your drone with the non steering hand? REALLY???

Had I approached this project I would have gone with a friend, wife, partner, etc. Let them drive and you stand off camera and work the drone while actually keeping your eyes on the drone.

Sorry to be critical but that's why you submitted it to the forum, right? You could easily have had an accident.

The scenery is good - the music was good.
On the drive out, it seemed to bounce between fall colors and your car...then to your car on the way out.
Your ghost getting his dance on? Well, I saw the doors open on the car and figured it scared you away! 🤣😂🤣😂 If you had fun doing it, all good!!

I somewhat concur Dale ...but just don't see the point. I guess Halloween has that effect upon some. A celebration only more recently embraced in Oz ...never around when I was a kid, and better for it.
Many see it as a commercialised American tradition that is unfortunately gaining traction.
Sorry about that.
Back to the driving.....as it could have been on private property (at least very secluded) I reckon even I could handle that (from the LHS) LOL.

Halloween is mankind's supreme achievement. It's arguably the only thing every human has in common. Every nationality, race and creed has put into this thing. The average American, like me, couldn't tell you anything about it. Yet we are the catalog of the symbology that has come down through the times and places of our evolution. It is the thing that is most beautiful about us. Dating to ancient antiquity it began as a way to honor our ancestors. In ancient Egypt it was a day they took the mummies of their beloved deceased relatives out of their containers in the corners of the room, sat them down at the kitchen table and had dinner with them. The religion of that time deified cats. So a saucer of milk was set out on the front door stoop in veneration. The black cats would come to lap up the milk. Later, in medieval Europe, the cathedrals were decorated with protective gargoyles. As the religion of Europe transformed from druidism to Catholic, some of the traditions of paganism were assimilated into Christianity in the form of holidays and traditions. So, the gargoyles became the the monsters that we associate with Halloween. The witches were pagans that practiced alchemy and used drugs. They had visions. They were vilified by the Christian Church as heretics. They would be sought out and questioned. If they answered wrong and were suspected of being witches, they could be punished. So, it was said that they had to have their wits about them. Hence witches. The people of that time celebrated the fall harvest. They would use the straw left over from the fields to make brooms. People in Paris were buried in the catacombs. A place were many skeletons could be seen. In Mexico, on El dia de los muertos (the day of the dead), people go to the cemeteries with gifts. Vendors sell candy skulls for the children. I once spoke with an African American migrant man who was a clerk in my local pharmacy. He said, I like your Halloween. I like the costumes, the decorations and the candy. I said, "It's our Halloween." I explained all of the traditions down through time. He had a beautiful look on his face as he smiled and said to me, " Oh, we do that." As for the road I was on, It's gated off on all sides and no one else was there. While its deceiving in the video, my speed never exceeded 3 mph because my car has low clearance and I was worried about ripping something off the bottom. The ghost was intentionally done as silly. Our world is becoming much too serious.
