You live in such a nice little village! I am wondering and fearful about that big chimney spewing copious amounts of white smoke so close to the village. Is it a power plant. Are there lots of cases of COPD or other pulmonary problems?
I had to do my filming on the rare occasions when the weather has broke for a bit. Hasn't been great the past couple of weeks.Great idea when the weather is rubbish for flying! Love to do that but we’re too close to NCL to even test fly in our garden
It's a chipboard & MDF factory and yes there are an unusually high amount of cases of respiratory problems reported in the surrounding areas but all investigations are quickly shutdown. The Scottish environment agency SEPA are clearly in their back pocket. This is denied of course but everytime they are asked to investigate people have to harrass them for results and when those results are finally made public it's always 'Everythings fine, nothing to see here'.
There is a LATIN saying, in our medical malpractice law..."Res Ipsa Loquiter." The fact speaks for it self. (example, finding a sponge inside a belly, left there by an incompetent surgeon, causing severe medical harm to the patient). The fact speaks for itself. No further proof is needed. The picture of this smoke and the prevalence of lung diseases speaks for itself as a health hazard.
Thank you. It's a different kind of video for me partly forced on me by the limited chances to get out flying over the past few weeks. Quite happy with how it turned out especially as I only really had a very rough plan on how to do it.
Lived in Hexham, Northumberland UK for many years and it has a largish chipboard plant, Egger, downwind. Very similar white smoke issues 24/7 but the authorities only ever say it’s condensation. It looks awful for visitors approaching along the Tyne Valley so I’ve never understood why they can’t condense the vapour before it escapes into the atmosphere….. unless they’ve realised the ‘water’ won’t be clean enough to pump straight into the river and gives them a much larger problem!
