We got snow for the first time in ages here in Surrey, UK so i thought i'd get up early and go and get some shots with the Mavic Pro.

I flew it with one hand for the most part!

Yes! Flying in the cold is fine, just give it a minute before take off to heat up a bit and remember that performance is reduced
