File numbering not continuous after 0999.After 0999 goes to 0001

M2P set continuous in settings.File goes to 0999 and resets to 0001.Looks like it should go to 9999 but doesn't.what's up?

I haven't got that many shots on my M2 yet, but my Phantom 4 did the same thing. From DJI_0999 it rolled over to DJI_0001.

I guess this is just a DJI thing.

What I did was create a folder named 1000 and put all the 'rolled over' images in that so they wouldn't overwrite the existing images.

I also haven't hit 999 yet but your insurance fix is good headwork. I mean geeze, how hard would it have been to add a few lines of code to make the aircraft continue to increment the filenames beyond 999? Now THAT is poor programming IMHO. Thanks for the heads up.
