Filming the Taj Mahal in India

Haha. No! I stayed in backpacking hostels in India though, and they made uk police cells look like the Hilton.

Ofcourse. Jail cells over here are like german nazi camps. Food standards would be like feeding animals at a zoo. They make inmates clean toilets. Google Indian Prisons, youll get an idea. Literally and seriously they would definitely make you feel that your US or UK police cells are 5 star hotels.

Was at the Taj Mahal in December. No Drones signs posted everywhere. Suspect they would try to bring any drone down. Lots of guards with guns. Pretty sure they would make concerted effort to find owner and deal with them. Wouldn't risk it.

That's a lot of palms to grease.

Im from India. And i understand drones might pose a threat. But why video would be banned is a strange one. Its already been photographed and shown left right and centre on television and youtube. Will filming it on your mobile make the Taj Mahal weaker as a structure ?

Now that is a good question! I’m not sure if camera flashes can damage the structure/monument but normal recording should be fine, right? When I visited the site it was never explained why you couldn’t record videos.
