Yeah there's all sorts of videos on YouTube showing burning off stuff that gets caught on the power lines. Safer, faster and cheaper than sending personnel to remove them.

Yup, all about saving the company money, so they can give maximum dividends to investors. Hell with the people that lose power over this stupid act.
Power companies need to hire more personnel to keep the lines clear.
Went thru this in Houston, Tx with Beryl 7-days no power, but hey we saved money By not doing preventative maintenance.
