Hey guys first time poster long time lurker... Recently my mavic pro got locked by DJI, assuming because I'm running an older version of both firmware and software. I have researched the dumldore method but before I go any further I had a couple questions!
The reason I haven't updated DJI go is the warning they give about signing in before flight & otherwise limited flight range. 99% of my flights are in very remote areas where there is obviously no cell or data service, so I have opted to run an older version for the software. Am I right for doing this?
Yesterday I went out flying (last time was ~2 weeks ago on the opposite side of the country) and when I get out there mavic pro is locked. I drive back to service to update app, which fails over and over again around 70%. So now I'm unsure of my DJI version and want to download a safe APK for my Android. What version should I download?
Will I need to change the firmware on my controller and mavic, or just the software and unlock the aircraft with dumldore??
Thanks
