firmware update

When I flew my Mavic today it said update firmware. I flew the drone without updating. It flew fine, everything worked as it should. When I got home I thought I would do the update. When I turned everything on I did not get any notice of any update needed. Do I need an update or not?

Which firmware version do you see in the "General Setting" --> "About" section of DJI GO?

3.1.0

That's the DJI GO version. When your Mavic is connected to DJI GO, you'll be able to see the firmware version there too.
