Hi Everyone

I'm a new pilot flying a Mavic 3 Classic in California. Today I foolishly took off from an uneven surface and my Mavic 3 Classic plowed into a bush shortly after takeoff.

The only damage seems to be a split in one of the propellors which I have replaced. What else do you think I should check to ensure my next flight is a safe one?

Cheers

Check all blades and make sure the propellors rotate freely and there are no cracks in the body and legs. Check all legs are secure with no play. If all is good. Take-off and just hover a metre or two above ground and check it is stable and all controls are operating normally including the gimbal and camera. If no other issues are found you should be good to go.

Take a good hard look at the other props. Make sure they are undamaged locked in correctly. Then maybe take off and let it hover to see if anything else looks wrong. Then see if the camera and gimbal are working as expected. If all that works, you're probably good to go?

My dad flew in the US Air Force and they had a handy checklist for their fighter jets:
1. Kick tire
2. Light fire

(Jinx - @SkyeHigh and I posted almost the same thing at the same time.)

I agree with Max. Change all blades - just too easy and inexpensive not to.
