We are pleased to announce the formation of the very first DSAR chapter in the nation ... in Tennessee. Based in Chattanooga, it is headed by the very capable Mani Ravee ("Aviator" on the forum), MD, COL, US Army working with Chattanooga Lung Specialists. Mani has already trained with DSAR and will also be at the training in Acworth this weekend.
Here's a little about Mani,
"Avid aviator, both fixed wing single engine land and drones part 107. Deeply committed and involved with Drone Search and Rescue operations. Colonel in the US Army, 20 years now(still serving) with 3 deployments in combat and awarded a Combat Medical Badge. Pulmonologist and Critical Care MD, dog lover, gun owner, and also an avid motorcycle rider, active in the BMW rider communities. One of the four Global Admins for the BMW S1000 XR owners on Facebook."
Mani is qualified to conduct DSAR training and nominate pilots for the DSAR registry.
