First ever drone from the UK

Mavic air is my first ever drone. Been waiting for a couple of years until the right one was introduced. I live in the UK in Derby. I'm a keen amateur photographer and I plan to use the air to enhance my photographic experience.

I've had the air for a week now. Flew it outside for the first time on Sunday. A few problems but hopefully have it sorted. I had connection issues. Been practicing in the living room and all seems ok now. Can't wait till the weekend and hopefully it won't be raining or below 0 Degrees C.

What I like about the air is its portability. I need to get quite good quickly so I can take it away on holidays etc.

As with all new dji products never get the first batch. There will be issues and about 4 firmware upgrades before it's a sorted machine and does what it says it will do. Just take your time and update when advised to do so from dji. Fly safe.

Welcome - Im from London too and I always found it a struggle finding areas nearby to legally fly, which led me to sell my Mavic Pro due to lack of use
Regret it ever since and looking to pick up another drone (waiting to see what the Pro 2 brings to the table), so would be interested to hear where you fly?
