First flight happening today

The entire time I was saving, shopping, studying and talking about getting a mavic pro today is the day to walk the walk. I would talk about how awesome these are and that they fly themselves. The studying i had done proved that statement untrue. This is a serious machine. Like they say with great power comes great....
If this thing flew itself why am i so nervous to go on this first flight (probs shouldn't have read the forums of all the mavics that have flown away never to be seen again). Any way thank you for all the good advice and experience you post on the forum. I'll let you know how it goes. Mavic pilots, mount up.

All of us get nervous before a flight. Some more than others. If you aren't nervous, you may be careless and cause an accident or harm to your Mavic or, heaven forbid, to you or someone else.

with experience you may not feel as nervous as you do now.

Just make sure you're in beginner mode at every take off as mine did I think by itself revert to normal once . I noticed it prior to take off so I was ok.
