Well it was a rubbish day here, really grey and gloomy but the rain did end up more or less stopping so I took her out for her maiden flight late this afternoon. I think she'll be fine as I reckon the weather wasn't 100% conducive to flying, it then started just slightly drizzling so when she landed, there were a few droplets on her which might explain a couple of things that happened..
Take off fine, she feels really responsive so I might dial the EXPs down a touch for filming, there was a glitch at 0.46 in the video which was a glitch with the AC, motors sped up momentarily so that might have been the OA picking up on the rain/gloom and a downward OA warning popped up briefly too. I had her directly above me at 258ft with one of the controller's antenna flat, i.e. pointing up and she went into RTH which was strange but I guess the Air's antenna are at their weakest when above you. No dramas, regained signal and all was good.
The video is ungraded to start and some grading as it goes through. I reckon she'll be a keeper, fingers crossed for some decent weather next time.
