First flight

I finally purchased a Mavic 2 Pro. First flight went great. I have a question about photos and videos and the internal memory. I purchased a SD card and took some pics and video. iPad said no photos to import when I tried to access them. On the computer it said card was not formatted, though directions on the SD card said nothing about formatting first. Im transferring the media to my comp now from the internal memory. A slow process on my ancient laptop. Question is, if I am using a SD card does the video still go to the internal memory and do I have to go into the drone after each use to clear the internal memory? Once the internal memory is full does it stop saving media or overwrite the old? Thank in advance, Greg

If you have a sd card inserted into your Mavic 2 then you can choose within the DJI Go 4 App where you want to save to. Either the internal 8gb storage or your currently installed sd card. It will not save to both only the one currently selected in the App.
