Flight Pause Button

The manual says: "Flight Pause Button. Press once to exit TapFly, ActiveTrack, and other Intelligent Flight Modes."

Q: What "pause" means? Aircraft holds in position?

The manual is referring to this button on the remote controller:




When pressed, the aircraft will exit the current intelligent flight mode and hover in place until you command it to do something else.
