Flight status indicator light

Bought a used Mavic pro, and I have to say I love it, my flying time has been limited thanks to our wonderful weather in southeastern Ohio, everything works perfect except for the flight status indicator light on the back of the drone, anyone else have an issue with this ? I've looked through all the settings and also tried find my drone, I get the audible beeps but nothing from the lights, any help would be appreciated

No signs of crash at all

Yes no light at all on the rear, front led's work fine

Purchased off of ebay, I've reached out to seller he hasn't got back to me yet

My first thought is to send it back if that problem was not disclosed by the seller.
The other thought would be to plug it in to a computer and possibly refresh the firmware that it is currently running. I would not change the firmware for fear that the seller would claim a fault brought on by you when you changed it from original condition.

I saw a couple threads addressing the firmware for the Mavic 2 having this problem, but none for the Mavic Pro, we also opened it up and saw no signs of damage to the boards or anything else, everything looked intact.........to refresh the firmware I use DJI assistant 2 ?

is it possible to change the rear LED unit maybe it has burnt out or become disconnected

There is no setting to disable the rear light.
