I filmed this last week near the town of Chehalis, along the Newaukum River, in Southwest Washington State. The waters receded temporarily, but are rising again now that heavy rains have returned.

So sad. I did not realize the impact hit communities that far south. I live in the extreme NW corner of WA yet was very tempted to drive south towards Seattle to capture images of the devastation.
