Flying a protest in Columbia, SC

The the #AllOutMay1 is Wednesday and I was wondering the feasibility of videoing the marchers with a drone. There appear to be no local laws after I did a search. The only thing is I need to contact a small municipal airport for their permission. If I avoid overflying the crowd, would it be worth flying in downtown Columbia?

You could. Just dont let your teacher see you doing it.

If I were you I would watch for trees and power lines, and I would also use props guards. You might be flying low and slow in unfamiliar surroundings, so that always adds a bit of a challenge to a benign flight.
