Flying at the Beach: Any risk to drone

I've flown Huntington Beach, Seal Beach and Long Beach without any problems at all. Not sure which beaches you're talking about.

Huntington beach is a NO-Fly zone:
no person shall launch, land or operate a model aircraft or UAS within any park unit in the Orange Coast District (Bolsa Chica State Beach, Huntington State Beach, Corona del Mar State Beach, Crystal Cove State Park, Doheny State Beach, San Clemente State Beach, and San Onofre State Beach).
Additionally the city of Huntington beach requires proof of Drone insurance to fly at the beaches where it is allowed. ALL commercial Drone Pilots MUST also posses a permit that can be applied for at the city offices.

Good point. I think it's tile, but that's usually over concrete. Will remain aware.

Or just holding the drone in your hand while powering it up.
