Flying backwards

Apart from the obstacle avoidance sensing, does Mavic flies backwards as fast & efficiently as forwards?

Not 100%. As you notice there is a difference in the height of the front and rear props. They add to efficiency when in forward flight. Thus the difference in flight time from hovering vs forward flight. Reverse will still be better than hovering but not as efficient as forward.
