Flying drone in Samoa

Hoping you can help. This is the first time I’m taking my drone into another country. I just wanted to know if I will be needing to do a firmware update, calabirate my drone before use when I arrive there? Will I have an issue using my DJI App on my phone and connecting it to there drone, as I will be purchasing a new SIM card from Samoa for my phone to use whilst I’m there.

I am actually taking it to Samoa too and I wonder if you could kindly share your experience.
Any legal issues, insurance, local people...
I heard they are pretty easy going?

Hi Al,
I actually didn’t have any issues with it. No issues with insurance, customs, etc just one hiccup at the To Sua trench, where you are not allowed to fly it above the trench. There is a sign before you enter the ground and pay to go down to the trench. However, all other villages and chiefs etc had no dramas with me using it.
