There are Two very Effective ways that makes flying your drone safe on the Boat.

The First is the Rescue Jacket \\that we make for the drones so you can hand catch safely and land in the Water if need be.

The Second is what we call the Lunar pad , designed to Reach out to your drone and land if Safely while moving with Precsion , The Difference is reaching out to the drone is much safer than trying to land it in your hand,

I watched that video. Well done. I will have to investigate the Rescue Jacket concept, as I do not think the Mini has a lot of reserve capacity to carry much weight. I had a 20 knot gust hit it as it rose above the treeline and it looked on the verge of struggling to maintain position. So far, no crashes.
