Flying in Dronie quickshot mode

I haven't had my drone long and am still trying out its capabilities.
In Dronie mode, if you set the height to the lowest height setting the drone flies out and backwards on an upward trajectory, stops and then returns to base. My question is, if you then set the height to the highest height setting, does it fly further on the same trajectory until it reaches the maximum height, or does it fly out the same distance but on a steeper trajectory to reach the maximum height?

I believe that you're setting the distance from your dronie start point (how far it flies back) not the height
Which aircraft are you using?

Thanks for your reply. I should have said, it's the Mavic Mini. In dronie mode, it seems you can only select the height and not the distance.
