Flying in Staten Island

Hi all, I have a potential job in staten island and I am trying to figure out if I can actually fly there. I am outside of the LAANC approval areas so I know i am good there, But what I am wondering if I need to get city approvals for a 15 minute flight for photos and videos of an apartment building. Has anyone been flying in that area lately and had issues? Please let me know.

thanks, i forgot about these new rules... looks like i wont be flying anytime soon! and $150 to boot with no guarantee of being approved!

will do. I may just try it anyways and see what happens..

I dont know how all these jobs coming up in NYC are getting done. people must be flying illegally. and everyone wants their jobs done ASAP. this process is 30 days for new, 14 days if you have ever been granted permission before.
