Flying Location Recommendations--Northern Va./ Maryland

Hey all,

Kind of new to flying got my MP2 back in August and have been taking my drone with me every trip I take. Need some recommendations for good fly locations, besides Fairfax parks--they have changed their rules and now allow drones. My big thing is water, I love to take pics near lakes, rivers, etc. Let me know all! I have attached a few pics that I have taken so far.

Nice pics! Be careful there because a lot of Harper's Ferry is a National Park, but theres a lot of that area that is deemed a national park and lots of areas that are not. I stopped by the visitors center and they gave me a map of the entire area that shows what parts are National Park and which parts are not.

There are a lot of spots along the Potomac that are beautiful. As Spyder said, I guess you have to watch if you are flying from a National Park. I would look at any of the many hiking trails we have around here and go fly from any of the overlooks.
