How can I fly my mavic inside a warehouse sized refrigerator? I can take off and fly but have no connection to camera. If I go outside of the refrigerator I am able to take off and record.

It should be no different to any other large room, with no GPS it should manage with VPS if lighting is adequate, though if there's a lot of metal around the compass readings might be screwed.
I can't see any reason at all the video feed would be cut.
Do you not see any feed when it's just parked?
Sounds like an unrelated issue such as USB cable.

Well I've never tried to fly from outside a cooler. But I assume you have metal walls insulated with styrofoam? Not the best situation to fly in.

I wouldn't recommend it. I tried flying my Mavic inside of an Elevator and the wind turbulence it created caused it to crash. Luckily it wasn't bad and I could fly again.... at least until the drone eating palm tree got a hold of it.

Yep the perfect system to block 100% of the signal.
Unless you are in the freezer with the remote it will never work.
