Would flying in wildfire smoke damage Mavic electrical, electronics and other components, or require stripdown and cleaning? Video visibility about 3 miles.

Technically the smoke could reduce the perform of the Mavic just like flying in high humidity. That said the risk is likely very low. I live outside Seattle so im stuck in this smoke as well, but since i have my Part 107 have to maintain line of sight which is very hard to do with this smoke. Personally it just isnt worth flying in.

Sure could use some famous Seattle rain.

Likewise, I have restrained flying Mavic in the smoke.

Miss flying, nevertheless without sunlight not as interesting shooting videos and just looking around for wildlife. With smoke and heat wildlife seam less active. Run *"Bambi" run.
